Amy and Aly are a team of professional doulas living in Sonoma County. North Bay Birth Services was born in early 2015 when two doulas realized they could combine their knowledge and passion for birth and turn it into a career supporting families.

 

They continually seek new information on supporting birth and birth outcomes including completing training through DONA International, International Placenta and Postpartum Association, Breastfeeding Basics and Spinning Babies. Amy has been a trained massage therapist for over 10 years and loves to use this experience to comfort mothers during pregnancy and labor. Aly is a Certified Lactation Specialist and can help sort through normal breastfeeding questions and challenges.

Amy and Aly will listen and encourage you. They will connect you to resources and information throughout your community to make sure your concerns are addressed and your voices are heard. They will encourage and empower your family to make informed decisions throughout your entire journey.
